2D3D is a multidisciplinary design agency, offering graphic, spatial and interactive design in one place. 2D3D researches, advises on, designs, supervises and executes a wide range of communications media, from visual identities to annual reports and from web design to exhibitions. The agency has more than 30 years’ experience in the field of visual communications and is based in The Hague, Arnhem and Amsterdam.
'Form follows function' and 'Information is carried by emotion’? This is a philosophy and approach which ensures original, unique and exciting solutions which are clear, durable, environmentally-aware and tailored to the client’s request. Whilst adopting a healthy critical perspective on social developments, we always work from the content to find the right solutions, whereby the communication of emotion is an important principle within the design. This gives a starting point from which we regularly get to the heart of the identity or message to be visualised through in-depth analysis and interactive sessions with clients.
Starting from these principles, experienced designers work with passion on assignments for government bodies, businesses, and in the culture, education and health & welfare sectors. Our approach is direct; short lines of communication mean we are able to listen well, empathise and translate directly into a strong concept and design.
2D3D is a member of the BNO (Association of Dutch Designers). This organisation is the industry association for designers and design agencies in the Netherlands. Membership gives an assurance of quality and includes a guarantee that BNO members comply with the standards of professionalism laid down by the association. All our transactions are governed by the general terms and conditions of the BNO.
2D3D is also a member of the VBN (Netherlands Signage Association) and the SEGD (Society for Environmental Graphic Design).
The 2D part of 2D3D refers to the graphic disciplines. Analysis, advice and design are provided for a wide range of communications resources based on one of our core activities: the development of visual identities.
